The Museum’s team of facilities managers, security staff, collections care specialists, and registrars ensure appropriate conditions for the storage, transport, and display of art.

The Kemper Art Museum has collaborated with conservation specialists at the Saint Louis Art Museum and the Midwest Art Conservation Center in Minneapolis, thanks to the the financial support of Washington University and awards from the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). The Museum continues to advance its goal of assessing and improving the condition and storage of the more than 8,000 objects comprising the permanent collection.
